STEPS:
1: Download and extract driver to a folder for easy accessLink or google "vga_intel_6.14.10.3722_xpx86xpx64_a.zip"

2: Uninstall any current driverRight click on MY COMPUTER and select Manage.
Your Device Manager should have a Standard VGA Driver installed under Display category and exclamation mark on "video controller". Restart PC when asked.

3: Browse to c:\windows\system32\drivers\Locate vgapnp.sys and right click on it. Click Advanced and then the OWNER tab. Take ownership.
Then go back and in the Security Tab add your current user and give FULL permissions.
4: EDIT vgapnp.sys

Right click the file and Select OPEN WITH... Select Notepad.
Once opened just add a "x" in front of the MZ. It should look like this:

Click to save file. (If you already took ownership and permissions it will let you with no error"
* If still a problem just remove permission to other 4 default users.
5: Install downloaded driver (use only advised driver)
In Device Manager uninstall Standard VGA Adapter.
At prompt restart.
After reboot you will see a message saying that certain devices did NOT installed successfully, that is OK!!!.
Go to the Device Manager again see the exclamation point next to "video controller" and "video controller (vga compatible)".
Right-click on "video controller (vga compatible)" and select update driver.
Select "Browse my computer for the Driver Software" .
Click browse and point to the folder with the extracted driver.. Browse until you are in the win2000 folder.
The driver will be installed. Just wait until is done fully.
Restart once done.
Once you log in, it will complete the installation and you ll get the full resolution of our laptop screen.
NOTE: If you wish you can restore ownership and permission to original settings by just looking side by side to another file in the drivers system32 folder.
NOTE2: To add the Trusted Installer you need to type NT SERVICE\TrustedInstaller since this is a service and not a user.
NOTE3: If you have a scren rotation problem, open your registry (regedit.exe) and goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Intel/CUI DISPLAY1/EnableRotation
and set it to 1 (double click on it)
