HOW TO FIX: "KB4541329" - MS RDS Server Excel 2016 crashing & MS OFF applications crashing. Print crashes applications.

This Monday I had users complaining that:

- EXCEL 2016 was crashing at start up, same for WORD.

- SOFTMAR (a shipping application using a pdf writer to print to pdf was crashing.

- Print spooler running but no printers were visible

On Friday 30.03.2020 I found that this update "KB4541329" was the only new install on the server.
This is a MS RDS Server/Gateway.

Office repair, removal, re-installation didtn fix MS OFF.

Office was running ok if connected locally (admin group user) on the server but not when connected remotely.

Same for printers

Once update "KB4541329" removed (take some time to remove and after reboot to finish configuration of updates). Just WAIT.

Then MS OFFICE and PRINTERS were working normally again either locally or remotely!
