Recently I got a request about the aforementioned warning/error he kept getting on his Windows 7 PC trying to access a Greek government web site.
If you are having windows 7, an old version of internet browser (firefox) and trying to access a web site as the https://www.gov.gr/ you will get this error in your browser "ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID"
You can do below to fix it:
- Upgrade for free if your PC can handle it to Windows 10 by using the Windows official Tool
- If you keep your Windows 7 then you need to upgrade you browsers to latest versions available for the OS, and use IE native to go to setting and install this certificate in the Trusted ones. Then retest your browser/site
You ll need to get the certificate from a legit site as the one mentioned on the top and export to a file named:
"ISRG Root X1.cer"
